Sida, the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, is Sweden's aid authority and works on behalf of the parliament and government to contribute to reduced poverty worldwide. The organization is currently on a journey of change towards becoming a more digital, efficient, and modern authority. Narva was tasked with assisting Sida in their digitalization journey to enhance efficiency and modernization. The primary objective was to align employees with the digitalization strategy, ensuring they comprehend its significance and their pivotal role in its execution.
Narva closely collaborated with Sida's Digitalization Program leadership, facilitating change and internal communication across multiple agency levels, including the overarching, sub-program, and various project levels. This process entailed strategic planning and operational execution, ensuring seamless messaging and ongoing evaluation through surveys. To engage employees effectively, Narva led a strategic initiative centered on change communication and management, aiming to foster behavioral shifts through impactful communication. The project was started with an in-depth analysis phase, followed by workshops to gain insights into Sida's Digitalization Program. These insights guided the development of a comprehensive communication framework, tailored to different audience segments and stages of change maturity.
The initiative yielded comprehensive communication frameworks, fostering a unified approach throughout Sida's complex structure. Targeted messaging tailored to different audience segments enhanced engagement and comprehension. Weekly reviews ensured alignment with the strategy, with Narva consultants overseeing the plan's execution and updates. Narva's efforts facilitated smoother communication processes and equipped Sida's personnel and leaders with the tools necessary to drive digital transformation effectively. The project's success underscores the critical role of strategic change communication in facilitating organizational change and fostering employee engagement.
